Afspa.info is a source of information about the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) in effect in areas declared "disturbed" by the State of India (Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Nagaland, Manipur, Assam and ***). Content on Afspa.info is provided by a variety of Indian and international NGOs and Human Rights organizations as well as academics, journalists and individuals.

afspa.info is non-political but is, as a consequence of the widespread and documented breaches of human rights under the provisions of the AFSPA working towards the repeal og the act.

The site has three main sections:

1. A wikipedia collecting information about the AFSPA including related audio-video material, links and articles.  

2. A public forum for discussions about the AFSPA and the strategies eventually leadning to its repeal.

3. A calendar listing all relevant events and dates, such as demonstrations, release of reports etc.
